My Music Library Download and Installation
My Music Library is created in the 32-bit version of Microsoft Access because the 64-bit version does not allow third party apps. If your Office 365 is 64-bit, it needs to be uninstalled and 32-bit re-installed. This program will work with an earlier version of Microsoft Office, such as Office 2016, but it must be a 32-bit version.
The process:
- If your version of Microsoft Office is the Professional version that includes Microsoft Access, install the “My Music Library Professional.exe”..
- If your version of Office is the Standard version that does not include Microsoft Access, please consider uninstalling your Microsoft Office 365 Standard and re-install Microsoft Office 365 Professional. The Standard Version does not allow debugging the program. Sometimes this is necessary when the environment on your computer changes.
- Click the Download My Music Library Now button. It is safe.
- You may need to disable your virus protection software.
- Right click the “My Music Library Professional.exe” file and then Run as Administrator, and follow instructions.
Additional Computer:
- After installation repeat this process on that computer.
- You will need a mapped network drive that is identical on both computers, and a “(New Drive Letter)\My Music Library” folder.
- Edit the MMLPath.csv file in C:\My Music Library and replace the C:\My Music Library with the path to the drive where the LibraryData.accdb file resides.
Registration:
My Music Library requires an unlock code. After opening the program, click the button on the Registration Form to submit your registration # to Bugle Boy Music via email. You will receive your code via email shortly.
Login Instructions for the NEXT time you open My Music Library:
The next time you open My Music Library you will be prompted for a Username and Password. You may use admin as your User Id, and the word password as your password until you have setup yours. Add yourself as a User.
If your version of Microsoft Office is the Professional version and contains Microsoft Access download from this button.
This will download “My Music Library Professional.exe”. Windows will discourage the download, but it is safe, and you will want to keep it. Right Click and Run the file as Administrator. This will create C:\My Music Library and install the program files there.
